Black and white photography gives photos a timeless, nostalgic feel simply by the absence of color. It can add an air of romance , class, timelessness and also mystery and power to otherwise ordinary photos..!The vibrancy of color can at times actually detract from the desired photographic effect....I like this particular pic , perfect blend of light and shadow and the vibrant eyes creates a desired powerful photographic effect !!
